GCYF's Children of Incarcerated Parents Learning Summit

Houston, TX - May 14, 2008

On May 14th, GCYF is convening a national learning summit on children of incarcerated parents at DePelchin Children’s Center in Houston, Texas.  Thanks to the generosity of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, GCYF is able to offer this program at no cost to grantmakers.

In this one-day session, leading national experts will give grantmakers a thorough orientation to the current research knowledge on the issues, program strategies, and policy agendas in regard to these children and families.  The meeting is designed to give funders both a national overview as well as perspectives on how they can further explore and engage in this issue in their own grantmaking activities.
