Fall 2020 YTFG Virtual Meeting
Join us for the 2020 YTFG Virtual Fall Meeting on October 7 and 8. While we can’t be together in person, we still can connect on critical issues and priorities for our network. The full network meeting will take place on October 7 between 12pm and 5 pm ET (9am – 2 pm PT). Workgroup meetings will take place on October 8 and will run between 12 pm and 4 pm ET (9 am – 1 pm PT) (end times will vary).
Our fall meeting will focus on creating anti-racists policies and practices to improve outcome for young people of color. The meetings will feature national experts who will share insights on anti-racist and abolitionist frameworks our members can apply to their work as well as local experts who will lift up lessons learned from divest/reinvest strategies across the country.
Dr. Dylan Rodriguez, Professor of the Department of Ethnic Studies at UC Riverside, will open the meeting, and Edgar Villanueva, author of Decolonizing Wealth, will be the closing keynote speaker.
