Our City, Our Stories: Young Leaders on Chicago's Future
What should funders know about Chicago from the young people who call it home? In this special YTFG podcast, we hear from three young leaders from Communities United, a Chicago-based grassroots organization that brings together young people and families to advocate for stronger, healthier communities. They share their personal stories, perspectives on their city, and hopes for its future, reflecting on the challenges young people face, the strengths and opportunities within their communities, and what they would like funders to better understand. Above all, they offer their own ideas about how philanthropy can listen, build relationships, and show up as a more thoughtful and effective partner in Chicago.
